The history of the Italian shipyard Sangermani goes back to 1896 when Ettore Sangermano starts the construction of a boat for his new born son Cesare.
At the time, small-scaled pleasure sailing boats were reserved for a few.
Boat building became a family enterprise.
The Sangermani brothers, Cesare and Piero won many sailing yacht races which led to the production of more racing vessels.
The quest for perfection is the identifying mark of all Sangermani yachts.
Designed by the highly acclaimed Rhode Island naval architects Sparkman & Stephens inc., QUARTA SANTA MARIA is also the last sailing yacht launched by the historic shipyard now based in Lavagna, Ligury.

Delivered in 1993, restored to contemporary standards in 2020-2021 by her passionate Owner with Lucio Micheletti & Partners interiors, QUARTA SANTA MARIA has retained the charm of a by-gone era. Her elegant silhouette stands out under sail and at anchor.

The sailing IMS Maxi Racer – Cruiser QUARTA SANTA MARIA is rigged as a sloop and can reach up 10 knots with her 642 sqm sail area.
She boasts 85 sqm teak flush deck.
Those who like sunbathing will head to the foredeck mattresses with headrest. More sporty guests will enjoy the various watersports from the bathing platform.
The cockpit of approximately 12 sqm is fitted with a 2,5 m long table, spry hood and bimini top and is perfect for al-fresco dining.

Her salon features a formal dining table sitting 10 guests facing a dinette area.
